This is a remake of a painting I saw a photo of in some magazine. The original painting was done by a fellow named Kuckein, and his version is called "Baltic Afternoon". It instantly drew me in, so I thought I would have a stab at it. It was really fun to do- clouds must be the most forgiving subject matter there is: just pick a color and run with it. I still prefer his version, but I like this as a finished piece too. The title I gave it refers to the difficulty I had painting the umbrellas. Tricky little buggers.

And this next one is... a bit wierd...(!) but may be the last of the looking ladies. She has gotten older, it seems, has a cane and all, so i think may be saying goodbye.
